Arabian Star Flower

The Arabian Star Flower, 'Ornithogalum Arabicum', a spring planted bulb, produces an abundance of beautiful, star shaped, white flowers that are fragrant. They begin blooming in late spring and bloom until mid-summer. The Arabian Star Flower is also commonly called Arab's Eye or Lesser Cape Lily. It is very hardy plant that only needs watering during drought periods. They can be left undisturbed for many years and the clumps will expand up to 12 inches across from a single bulb. Plant in full sun to partial shade for best results. This plant produces excellent cut flowers. All parts of plant are poisonous if ingested.
