Aster - English Countryside

English Countryside Aster, Aster 'English Countryside', makes a fabulous performance each year regardless of environmental conditions. It's the belle of the garden and no one can resist its beauty. It makes a dramatic statement in your late summer garden with beautiful lavender-blue blooms, tinged with pink, for a 6 week period. English Countryside Aster plants form robust clumps and produce a profusion of these daisylike flowers. It attracts butterflies and is lovely in bouquets. To increase bloom time, deadhead after the first initial flowering. English Countryside Aster will do best in a full sun area with morning shade and well-drained soil. It should not stay wet while in dormancy.
