Cauliflower - Romanesco - Organic

Brassica Romanesco (USDA Organic) Cauliflower, Brassica oleracea 'Romanesco (Cauliflower)', has heads that are lime green with pointed, spiralled pinnacles. Cauliflower is best planted in summer for harvest in the fall, or midwinter in mild climates. Plant 18" apart to give the large plants adequate space. The plants are less vigorous and the heads tend to be a bit smaller than cauliflower. Brassica Romanesco has a mild, nutty taste. This is a visually stunning object that on first encounter it's hard to imagine you're looking at a garden vegetable! Its tightly packed, lime-green florets exhibit a complex, bewitching design.
