Clematis - Huldine

Clematis Huldine, Clematis 'Huldine', is known for incredible floral displays and a vigorous growth habit. The pearly white 3-4" flowers are composed of six non-overlapping petals, each featuring three pinkish-mauve central bars on their undersurface. Looks spectacular when grown over an arbor where bottom sides of the flowers can be viewed with ease. Our best repeat white blooming clematis! Clematis 'Huldine' needs a supporting structure to grow properly. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply a generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Very reliable performers once established; they take a season or two.
