Colchicum - The Giant

The Giant Colchicum, Colchicum 'Giant', produces large wide lilac flowers that grow 6-8 inches tall. Fall blooming colchicum are wonderful additions to autumn gardens. Their blooms form lovely chalice-shaped cups and the leaves turn to a golden yellow as they mature, blending with fall foliage. Will bloom within weeks after planting this fall!Colchicum 'Giant' is a cross result of Colchicum giganteum and Colchicum bornmuelleri. The result is this large flowering and excellent hybrid of Colchicum. A 'must' for the autumn garden, where it will flower for weeks.
