Solanum Coure di Toro (USDA Organic) Tomato, Solanum lycopersicum 'Coure di Toro Tomato', is a large, oblong, pink Oxheart type tomato. 'Coure di Toro' (meaning Bull's Heart) has thick flesh, sweet flavor, and it may grow to 2 lbs. It is an Italian heirloom, an early variety, and very productive with pink fruits in the shape of an oxheart. They are extremely flavorful, sweet, meaty, has fews seeds, and tender. Absolutely perfect as stuffed dish or sliced in salads, and this is a favorite for slicing for sandwiches. Does well in cooler summer conditions.
